Los Angeles County Fire Department Wildfire Damage Maps

The Los Angeles County Fire Department has provided the following maps of the thousands of structures, primarily homes, that were damaged or destroyed in the Palisades and Eaton wildfires. The icons reflect the most recent fire damage assessment. In addition to zooming and panning with the maps, you can enter addresses into the search bar to locate specific locations. Click here to view the maps.

Apps

Based on your home address, the Frontline Wildfire App allows you to see where current wildfires are burning and to monitor wildfires that may be a threat to your home and family. The app will also send proactive wildfire alerts and notifications, including new fire alerts, red flag warnings, fire weather watch warnings, lightning events, wildfire evacuation notices, and more. The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

The Watch Duty app will provide real-time wildfire map & alerts. Using satellite imagery and other official sources you can easily track and monitor the progress of a fire. The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

Rental housing and supplier restrictions on pricing during disasters
California law on pricing of essential goods and services, including rental housing, repair/construction supplies and services. Link to law here. These restrictions are in place for 30 days (rental housing) and 180 days (repair/reconstruction) following the official emergency declaration, but may be extended by executive order.

Los Angeles County Tax Assessor

You may be eligible for tax relief if your property is damaged or destroyed by a calamity, such as fire or flooding. To qualify, you must file an Application for Reassessment: Property Damaged or Destroyed by Misfortune or Calamity (ADS-820) with the Assessor's Office within 12 months from the date the property was damaged or destroyed. Proposition 19 Disaster Relief Transfer of Base Value

If your property was substantially damaged or destroyed by a Governor-declared disaster, Prop.19 provides for your property's tax base to be transferred to a comparable property within the same county or another county in California. Click here.

 


Report of Beneficial Owner Information Impact of Ongoing Litigation-Deadline Stay-Voluntary Reporting
